About the Accelerated Lead Guitar Method

As a guitar player and a professional educator for over 30 years it became clear to me that there had to be a better way to learn lead guitar than the conventional method that often feels overwhelming and confusing at best. So, I took everything I knew to be fundamental to lead guitar soloing and improvisation and condensed it down to just the essentials. The true breakthrough in this method however was the development of a unique, two pattern approach that ties theory and navigation together.

My Accelerated Lead Guitar Method will take you directly to the key notes and sweet spots across the entire fretboard using just two patterns. The first pattern is repeatable all over the neck and easy to learn while the second pattern is what I call the "connector pattern" and links everything together.

You will then extend the basic pattern by adding blues notes and even scale modes for different "flavors" of soloing. Most importantly you will start playing and learning immediately. Every lesson is part of a comprehensive course structure that will immerse you in blues/ rock theory, techniques and ideas allowing you to improvise and solo to your heart's content!Take a look at the advantages of my Accelerated Lead Guitar Method:

The Accelerated Lead Guitar method that I have created also differs in approach to many existing lessons in as much as you, the student, create your own solos from the ground up taking inspiration from your favorite guitarists.

There are no set solos for you to copy or bags of licks to learn, drill and then forget. You are the creator of the musical journey on which you want to take your audience and you will have the knowledge and skills to make it as interesting and as varied as you like; taking back roads, main roads and even going off road with the confidence of always knowing where you are and where you are heading.

Every lesson you will be learning with your guitar in-hand as I believe we all learn best by doing. I have created carefully crafted backing tracks to share with you that will help you build your solos by using visual and audible cues all broken down into small sections. And, when it comes to theory you will be supported by easily digestible content that is "brain friendly" and accessible to all ages of guitarist.

Is this the right method for you?

Well, Have you ever asked:

❌ How can I create my own solos?❌ Is improvisation a gift that only some people have?❌ Why do my solos sound like scales?❌ Is there a way to move around the fretboard without getting lost?❌ I learned all these licks.... now what?❌ Why do my solos sound like random licks stitched together?❌ Do I need to study music theory to play well?❌ How can I stop my solos sounding repetitive and boring?❌ How do I create more melodic solos?

If any of the above questions resonate with you then I am happy to tell you that you are in the right place!

After 5 lessons, using my Accelerated Lead Guitar Method, you will be able to:✅ Solo along the entire fretboard✅ Create your own solos from beginning to end✅ Play what you feel✅ Squeeze all of the tone out of your guitar✅ Understand the essential theory behind blues and rock soloing✅ Connect your solos to the underlying chords for that professional sound✅ Improvise on the spot over any Major or minor chord progressions✅ Deconstruct your favorite artist' solos and licks✅ Use my simple "GilMoore" plug-in to create melodic, ballad style solos.

Typical Student Profiles

From my experience let me share some example student profiles that typically benefit from the Accelerated Lead Guitar Method

Mark
Mark has recently rediscovered his love for music. He used to play the guitar in his youth but gave it up due to other commitments. Now that he has more free time, he wants to pick up where he left off and become a proficient lead guitarist in the blues / rock genre. He has been looking for a supportive instructor who can provide structured guidance to help him achieve his musical goals. He has now broken through his current skill level to be able to improvise confidently and expressively.

Enrique
Enrique has just started playing guitar as a hobby. He feels stuck and frustrated with his progress and wants to break out of this plateau and learn how to play soulful, expressive lead guitar solos and begin improvising. He came to me as a relative beginner having become frustrated by the unstructured content available on YouTube. He has tried various courses, but they did not provid him with a clear path or step-by-step guidance to learn lead guitar effectively.

Charly
Charly has always had a passion for playing the guitar. She loves the blues/ rock genre and has been writing songs and playing rhythm guitar for years. She now wants to fulfill her goal of being able to construct and incorporate soulful, melodic solos into her songwriting. Before using the Accelerated Lead Guitar Method she struggled to filter through the noise and piece together a comprehensive learning experience that addressed this specific need. She has also moved beyond solo construction and used her new found skills to become a competent improvisational guitarist that she incorporates into her jam night sessions in her local town.

Lockdown Luke
Luke bought an electric guitar during lockdown, dreaming of shredding solos and improvising like a pro. But without a real teacher to untangle the fretboard and make sense of music theory, his enthusiasm fizzled, and the guitar became a living room decoration. However, the dream never died, it was just waiting for the right spark. Using my Accelerated Lead Guitar method Luke finally cracked the code, mastered the fretboard and brought that smoldering ambition to life - albeit in his own bedroom!
